Knoxville, TN – [June 11, 2026] – Rodefer Moss Transaction Advisors (RMTA) is pleased to announce the sale of United Services, Inc. (USI) to Kelso Industries, a Draper, Utah-based national MEP platform. RMTA served as the sell-side advisor to USI on the transaction, further demonstrating the firm’s experience advising clients in the construction and building services sector.
Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, USI has grown from a single-trade electrical contractor into a leading multidisciplinary provider of MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) services. The company directly employs approximately 160 people, along with 35 to 40 regular skilled subcontract workers, and serves primarily commercial customers across six southeastern states.
Kelso Industries is a national MEP platform that partners with market-leading mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services companies across the United States. The acquisition of USI adds another strong operating company to Kelso’s platform and expands its capabilities in the Southeast.
