Hamilton, Hubbard named Partner

The three-state accounting firm of Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC has named two new partners in its corporate headquarters office in Knoxville.

 Jason Hamilton and Jared Hubbard, who are in the firm’s tax practice, were made partners on Jan. 1, Jimmy Rodefer, the firm’s chief executive officer, has announced.

“Jason and Jared began impressing their clients and colleagues on their first days with the firm,” Rodefer said. “They’re professional to the core in their knowledge, and their ability to work with clients within our corporate philosophy of listening better, trying harder, and caring more.  They are exceptional additions to our partnership team.”

Jason Hamilton joined Rodefer Moss in 2014 as a Principal in the firm’s tax practice. His consulting and compliance practice has been for both publicly traded and privately held consolidated corporations with multistate and international operations. Additionally, he has worked with closely-held businesses and their owners with income and estate planning.  Industries with which he works include manufacturing; real estate; wholesale and retail sales; restaurants; and transportation. Hamilton has worked for regional and international accounting firms in Memphis and Knoxville, Tenn., and as a tax director for a global orthopedics manufacturer.

Hamilton earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College in Memphis and his Masters of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee.

Jared Hubbard is a Rodefer Moss senior tax manager, joining the firm in 2011. An accounting professional for 12 years, Hubbard manages tax work for firm clients in construction; non-profit; manufacturing; and for small businesses.

 He is a member of the AICPA and the TSCPA. He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Carson-Newman University.
